In 1999 he was one of the competitors in the national Aquarium contest and reached the honourable 4 th place.
It measures 150 X 60 X 60 centimetimeters. It is occupied by a a group of 8 Pterophyllum leopoldi, 28 Petitiella georgea, 20 Corydoras similis, 3 Rineloricaria fallax, 2 Pseudancistrus leopardus, 2 Peckoltia vittata, 5 Ottocinclus affinis and on top of that 2 Awaous strigatus. To each his own of course, but I would be all for a less heterogeneous population.It seems to me that a restriction in the rest of the poulation would be a good thing for thr rest in the aquarium and the feeling of the P.leopoldi.And it has much to recomment that. P. leopoldi is spcies of Angelfish you do'nt meet every day and therefor a breeding stock by a amateur Mr. Canters would only aplauded.But jou can better forget the breeding considering the presance of the Red Nosed Tetras, that will be able to find a spawn sooner or later. ( In fact I do not quiquley be sod on a breeding. The aquarist often is missing the essential experiance. The breeding do'nt pass off smoothly and the joung fishes do'nt obtain by no means the quatlity of their parents. The result is that the de aquarium animals are degenerating quiqly as we saw it happen to so much aquarium fishes. Lots of exampels.) The pity of it is that in the planting he uses a cultivar (Echinodorus ocelot). For the rest the interior that is very natural strikes the attention. Especial the right part is like the rootsystem of a tremendous tree, standing partial in the water.
